Sport & Pro Similarities
- They both have a rough textured powder coat finish. This means that, although it is a rough, durable finish, you will want to take care when sliding things, such as kayaks or coolers, across the top, and may want to carry things specifically to where you want them before resting them on the cover.
- They both have a bare aluminim underside.
Sport & Pro Differences
- The Sport is made of 0.063 gauge aluminum and has a weight capacity of 250 lbs on road and 500 lbs static (parked).
- The Pro is made with 0.080 gauge aluminum and has a weight capacity of 500 lbs on road and 1,000 lbs static (parked).
Max Edition
- The Max edition is made with 0.080 gauge aluminum and has a weight rating of 500 lbs on road capacity and 1,000 lbs static.
- This edition has the powder coated finished topped with a spray in liner type finish. It will not scratch when you slide things across the top and stays a little cooler to the touch.
- The Max has a powder coated underside so that, when you flip the panels open, you will see the textured powder coated finish.
