Similarities Between the Classic & Platinum Editions:
- They both come in the Classic Black finish (This can be viewed here: https://www.peragon.com/pages/finishes )
- They both are able to be locked with a lock and key.
- They both can be opened by pressing down on the front two panels near the cab to begin retracting the cover. This compresses the gas springs, allowing the cover to open.
Differences Between the Classic & Platinum Editions
- The Classic has a one year warranty, and the Platinum has a three year warranty.
- The Classic has a single bolt lock that reaches into the driver's side, whereas the Platinum has an extra bolt that reaches over to the passenger side for extra added security. You can view photos of the lock below.
LimitedHD Edtion

The LimitedHD has most of the same features of the Platinum, with a couple of differences.
- The LimitedHD edition comes in a matte black finish. This one is more scratch resistant. It is still a fairly smooth finish, allowing it to be easily cleaned. - The LimitedHD has a five year warranty.

LimitedHDx Edition
This edition is only available for select trucks. Ensure that you have put your truck information into our website to see which edition is available for your truck.
- The LimitedHDx edition comes in the matte black finish, the same finish as the LimitedHD.
- The LimitedHDx edition locks differently then all three previous editions. It uses two push rods located underneath the cover that you can push towards the cab from the tailgate end. This releases the panels and allows them to open.
- The way this edition locks means that you do not have to have an extra set of keys, as you are able to lock and unlock the cover using the two push rods.
