Correctly Installed Lock Rod Support System
The photo below shows correct installation of the lock rod while pushed all the way forward in the open position. There should be 2-3" of rod between the lock rod and the lock rod support bracket.
Incorrectly Placed Lock Rod Support System
The photo below shows the lock rod support system installed incorrectly. When pushed forward, the lock rod should not come into contact the lock rod supporting bracket or mounting bracket.
If there is no space between the knob and the supporting bracket, you will need to loosen the bracket and refer back to your installation manual for the correct dimension for installation.
