Due to truck manufacturing variances, you might find that your cab panel does not seal as tight against your bulkhead and side rail caps as the rest of your panels. The following adjustment can be done to the cab strikers only.
Important Note: After performing this adjustment it is important to ensure your cab panel is fully latching to your striker pin.
Step 1.
Use a 5/32" allen for the bolt heads and a 7/16" wrench or socket for the nuts found on the underside of the rail. Loosen the nuts all of the way and remove the 1/4" washers.
Step 2.
Place your 1/4" flat washers between the striker bracket and underside of the rail as shown. This will lower your bracket allowing for a tighter seal of the cab panel to your bulkhead and side rails.
Step 3.
Making sure the striker pin is sticking out at a 90 or favoring the cab end of the rail, secure the striker bracket to the rail using a 5/32" allen for the bolt heads and a 7/16" wrench or socket for the 1/4" nuts.
