Use the small hinge tail on the mid panel to set the correct spacing for the hinge pieces on the tailgate panel. We recommend leaving the screws loose on the tailgate hinges and then setting your tailgate panel onto your mid panel hinge to set your spacing. Then torque down your screws to hold the hinges in place.
