Cleaning the Cover
Wash the cover like you wash your truck. If using a pressure washer then be careful around the seals so damage to the seal does not occur. Tree sap can be removed by using Goo-Gone.
Cleaning the Rails
Wipe down the rails with a wet cloth occasionally to remove dirt from the rails.
Lubrication Points
- Hinges - Dry graphite.
- Locks - Dry graphite.
- Striker Pins (what panels latch to) - Dry graphite.
Cold Weather
Apply a small amount of petroleum jelly to the underside of your seals to prevent them from freezing to your side rail caps and tailgate.
