Since bed rails generally mount to the stake hole pockets located on top of the bed rail sides, they typically do not interfere with installation and operation of the Peragon bed cover. You’ll find that bed covers that sit on the bed rail sides (non low-profile truck bed covers) cover up the stake hole pockets and will prevent you from using a variety of different tonneau covers. Bed rails are handy for a variety of things including securing cargo in the bed, as a handrail for accessing the cargo in your bed and enhancing the visual appeal of your truck.
* Limited HDx Edition for the Ram and Chevrolet/GMC will not work with bed rails due to the Peragon rails protruding into stake pockets.
Some installations require trimming of seal or slipping bed rail base under Peragon seal.
In order to determine if hand rails are compatible with the Peragon cover, you will want to check to make sure you have at least 3/16" gap from the base of the hand rail to the inside edge of the truck rail.
