How to Replace a Lock Cylinder
- Remove bolt 100590 using a 5/32 allen wrench
- Lift off lock plate
- Remove nut holding lock cylinder to panel
- Remove cylinder and replace with new cylinder. Hand tighten nut. Using a wrench, tighten 1/4 turn only. Do not over-tighten
- Place lock plate and rods back onto the cylinder using the correct orientation displayed in the diagram below. When tightening bolt 100590, hold lock plate firmly to prevent cylinder damage
Note: Not all covers are configured with the Dual Deadbolt System extending the deadbolt to the passenger side of the panel.
