Occasionally panel brackets and roller brackets need to be replaced due to damage or failure. Replacing the brackets is relatively straightforward and the below information will guide you through the process
First, remove the panel assembly.
Upon removal of the cover, use a 3/16" drill bit to drill out and remove the rivets. You can then remove the old bracket and proceed with the remaining steps.
Installing the New Bracket
Use the supplied stainless steel screws and/or rivets to fasten the bracket to the panel. Depending on the bracket you are replacing, you will need a 3/8" wrench and a 1/8" allen wrench for threaded fasteners and/or a pop rivet tool for brackets that require riveting.
Please refer to the following for more information about which brackets require riveting. We recommend the use of a rivet gun with a narrow nose piece.
