Repacking Panel Assembly
Remove all of the panel bumpers from the top and underside of the panels. NOTE: Shipping damage will occur if you do not remove the panel bumpers.
Repackaging the Rails
Take your two side rails and put the finished sides towards each other with a foam sheet between. Note: Rail guide bolts should be at opposite ends of each other.
IMPORTANT! Remove the silver quick release spring clip from the passenger side of your rail cross piece.
Your rail cross piece will have the lip with the seal on it facing down with the driver side of the rail crosspiece to your left as you are looking at the rail. Note: Driver side of the rail crosspiece is opposite side of where you attached the quick release spring clip.
Place the gray foam blocks so that they butt up against the the inside edge of the saddle on the rail cross piece for each side.
Place cardboard over over the the ends of the gray foam blocks so that the corners of the foam stick through the slots cut in the cardboard. Saran wrap or tape the cardboard in place. Repeat this step for the opposite side.
Flip rails over. Wrap the lock rods with foam so that the lock rod knobs are at opposite ends of each other. Saran wrap or tape the rods at each end. Place the wrapped lock rods into the center of the rails as shown. The lock rods should fit snugly between the gray foam blocks. Saran wrap around the center of the rails to hold the rods in place.
Place rails into box as shown below. Place one white styrofoam block at each end of the box. Close box and secure with tape.
